After restarting, your refresh rate may default to 60Hz. You may need to adjust this back in your display settings.

  • If the Loader Closes Without an Error:

    • Try installing the Visual C++ Redistributable package from here.

Important Notes:


  1. Ensure Overlay is Enabled (for either NVIDIA or AMD users).

  2. Download the Loader.

  3. Close Rust (make sure the game is not running).

  4. Open the Loader from your local disk or USB drive.

  5. Paste your License Key using the right mouse button when prompted.

  6. Follow the Loader Instructions carefully.

  7. Restart Required:

    • After the first injection, your PC will restart automatically. You'll need to inject again after the restart.

  8. Injection Successful:

    • Once you see the success notification in the message box, you can safely launch the game.

Injection Process:


  1. Download and Install SteelSeries GG:

  2. Enable SteelSeries Sonar:

    • Open SteelSeries GGGo to Settings → Scroll down → Sonar Shortcuts.

    • Set up any keybind for Sonar.

  3. Activate the Overlay:

    • Before injecting, press the keybind you set to enable the SteelSeries overlay.

For AMD GPU Users:


  1. Download and Install the NVIDIA software:

  2. Enable Overlay in the NVIDIA settings.

For NVIDIA GPU Users:


  1. Virtualization Settings:

    • Virtualization must be enabled in your system BIOS/UEFI.

  2. Disable TPM (Optional, but recommended for better performance).

  3. Disable Windows Features:

    • Hyper-V and Virtual Machine Platform must be disabled.

    • Steps:

      1. Open the Control PanelTurn Windows features on or off.

      2. Uncheck Hyper-V and Virtual Machine Platform.

      3. Open CMD and type the following:

        vbnetCopy codebcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
      4. Restart your computer to apply the changes.

System Configuration

  • Use the right mouse button to paste your license key when prompted.
