Essential Troubleshooting Steps

    • If you can't uninstall, open Command Prompt as Administrator and use the following command (replace "vgk" with the software name):

  • Solution:

    • Set the game to display on only one screen.

    • Ensure the game resolution is set to 16:9 (Ultra-wide screens with a 21:9 aspect ratio are not supported).

Additional Solutions

  1. ReShade and Anti-Cheat Software

    • Uninstall ReShade (for DayZ only).

    • Uninstall Riot Vanguard and FaceIT if they are present on your PC.

    • If you're using Windows Insider, this is unsupported. Reinstall Windows with the normal version.

  • I2 (-1073740285) Error:

    • This error is caused by a recent Windows update (April 9, 2024).

    • To fix it, revert the update by going to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Update History > Uninstall Updates, and remove updates from April 9 and 13, 2024 (KB5036892, KB5036893, etc.).

    • Turn off Windows Update to prevent future updates.
